
Paniyiri 2009
After being forced to reschedule in May due to bad weather, this weekend Paniyiri Greek Festival will finally take place right in the middle of school holidays. It runs over Saturday and Sunday and starts from 2pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday. The festival of all things Greek will take over Musgrave Park and the Greek Club at South Brisbane. It is only $7 for adults entry and children are free. Click here for more information.
Open Women's State Championships

The 2009 Open Women's State Championships came to a close today with both Brisbane and Gold Coast continuing to dominate their opposition. It was a hard foght out battle in the end between the two zones to see who would be crowned State Champions. Brisbane prevailed winning narrowly over the Gold Coast. Football Queensland Awards its brightest
Some of Queensland’s brightest football talent will now officially be recognised courtesy of Football Federation Australia’s inaugural Australian Football Awards.
