Kate McShea, Matt Smith and Matt McKay are Football's Ambassadors for True Sport Lives Here.
Kate McShea, was the captain of the inaugural Westfield W-League Premiers and Grand Final winners then-Queensland Roar, and played a vital role in the Roar's second season in the Westfield W-League where they made the final but lost to Sydney FC.
The 25-year-old is also longtime Matilda, making her debut back in May 2000 against Japan.
She has since donned the green and gold another 72 times including at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, 2002 FIFA U19 Women’s World Championships, 2006 AFC Asian Women’s Cup and the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, Matt Smith played for the Brisbane Strikers for the first two seasons in the Hyundai Queensland State League, captaining them in their second year and leading them to Premiership glory.
The 27-year-old now plays for North Queensland Fury in the Hyundai A-League. After originally signing as a six-week injury replacement, Smith impressed so much in his role as a central defender that the Fury offered him a two-year contract.
One of only few foundation players left in the Brisbane Roar squad, Matt McKay has also enjoyed a short stint on loan to 2007 Chinese Super League champions Changchun Yatai during the Hyundai A-League off-season.
The Brisbane-born midfielder has the honour of playing more minutes in Roar colours than any other player.
He has also represented Australia at U20 and U23 levels, and has three Socceroo caps to his name.
