The Queensland Open Women's team has taken the National Titles by storm!

The Queensland team finished the group stage of the Futsal National Championships in first place.

The Women had to fight hard in the Semi Finals to take NSW Thunder to extra time and won the match in a Penalty Shootout.

Playing ACT Cobras in the Grand Final proved to be a tough challenge for the QLD Girls. With Lorena Maggio out with multiple fractures in her knee and Diana Kubick out on suspension, the team had to step it up a notch. In a very exciting match the game was drawn at 1-1 for most of the game, with QLD bringing it home in the last 5minutes of the second half scoring 2 goals to win 3-1.

Queensland U15 Girls have finished their Round Robin part of the Futsal National Championships.

These Girls showed amazing team loyalty and came in 5th.

Queensland U14 Girls have finished their Round Robin part of the Futsal National Championships and have finished in second place!

They will be playing the Grand Final on Friday at 11am against NSW Thunder. Football Queensland wish them the best of luck for this match

Despite putting in their best performance, the Girls came in 7th.
