Chance brings out the best
The ROCKHAMPTON BULLETIN
ROCKHAMPTON'S Michael Cay would love a one-way ticket to Stamford Bridge.
At the moment the talented soccer player can only dream about one day playing in the colours of English Premier League Club Chelsea.
But his career could get a real kick along next week when he will be one of 50 players to take part in Nike's The Chance program at the Frenchville Sports Club.
Deadly Sports Day at Ropeley State School
Ropeley State School children enjoyed a fabulous day at the recent ‘Deadly Sports Day’ held at the Ipswich PCYC. The focus of the day was health and fitness. The children put their football skills to the test and particularly enjoyed the ‘new ball’ calls that kept them on their toes and supports development of listening and thinking skills! The children can’t wait to participate in future events. Needless to say most fell fast asleep on the bus ride home.
