NAB Joins Forces with Football Queensland
Football Queensland is proud to announce the sponsorship agreement with National Australia Bank for all Queensland Football clubs.
National Australia Bank are a proud national sponsor of Football Federation Australia and the Qantas Socceroos where they have invested significantly in Football and now Football Queensland is very proud to have secured a sponsorship with a truly Football orientated company such as National Australia Bank.
This is a significant agreement for all clubs in Queensland as National Australia bank will give back to community club level all funds through an introducer program.
Football Queensland President, Dennis O’Brien stated;
“We are excited to be partnering with National Australia Bank who commands the standing as a lending Corporate identity and particularly pleased to be able to give the benefits directly to the Clubs. The negotiated package has potential to deliver over $500,000 /half a million dollars this year alone, to support the efforts of our tireless volunteers”.
Clubs encouraged to share their volunteer reward practices.
In conjunction with the 2010 National Volunteers Week (10-16 May) the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is encouraging clubs to recognise the efforts of coaches and officials by nominating for a free Thanks recognition reward.
Clubs across Australia who best describe why and how they recognise their coaches and officials could receive the Thanks recognition reward.
The reward is a USB flash drive (pre-loaded with fact sheets, tools and tips, helpful hints and web links) and an engraved whistle with lanyard presented in a display box.
Clubs can apply for the reward by completing the application form (see related links) on the ASC website.
