The race to fill Queensland’s four spots in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 has begun, with Preliminary Round matches underway in Brisbane.
Including the 61 teams entered from the state’s capital, Queensland’s allocation in the competition’s Final Rounds will be contested by a total of 113 clubs.
Only one match remains in Football Brisbane’s opening round of fixtures with Grange Thistle set to host Caboolture FC on Monday night.
First-up draws have also been confirmed for the Football Gold Coast, Mackay & Regional Football, NQ Football and Sunshine Coast Football Zones.
While dates, times and venues are still to be finalised for many, four Sunshine Coast sides are set to commence their Cup campaigns next Saturday, 27 February.
Buderim Wanderers will welcome Gympie Diggers, while Caloundra FC host last season’s third-placed McDonald’s Premier Men team Noosa Lions.
